Excursion to Roman Hills with wine tastings: Roman Hills, also known as Roman Castles, are a group of villages situaded in the hilly region to the South of Rome. The region is characterized by the small volcanic Albano and Nemi Lakes, villas, castles and wineyards. The excursion will feature a panoramic tour through Castelgandolfo (summer residence of the Pope), Albano, Grottaferrata and Frascati. Then guests will visit a winery and will taste some of the local wines together with local specialities.
Excursion to Tivoli: visit to two unmissable masterpieces. In the morning visit to Hadrian’s Villa, the greatest villa never belonged to a Roman emperor, caleydoscope of styles and witness of the extraordinary ability of Roman architects. After lunch visit to Villa d’Este with its Renaissance gardens characterized by one hundred fountains and several species of trees and flowers.
