Very exclusive visit to some parts of the theatre normally closed to tourists.

The beginning of the visit is dedicated to the historical part of the theatre, the magnificent auditorium and the foyers. The visit starts from the Toscanini boxes foyer, at the first floor of the theatre. From there guests can visit the boxes of the third order, to have a breathtaking view of the wonderful historical auditorium.
Then they will visit the royal box and the main foyer, situated at the ground floor.

The second part of the visit is devoted to the stage and backstage of this temple of music. Guests will be accompanied to the orchestra pit and on the stage.

The visit will end with the new towers, designed by Mario Botta and built between 2002 and 2004, during the theatre’s last restoration. The huge fly tower with the most advanced backstage technologies  and the ellipse tower containing rehearsal rooms and dressing rooms.

Visit available from monday to saturday (not on sunday or public holidays) and only if there are not rehearsals or performances in progress.
