Short break among historical and archeological sites  north-western Sicily, including Palermo and Segesta.

Program will feature:

  • Transfer from Palermo (or Trapani) airport to hotel and viceversa, with assistant
  • 3 overnights in 4 star  hotel in Palermo
  • 1 half day guided tour of Palermo, to discover the important heritage dating back to the times when the city was a crossroad of cultures. Guests will visit in particular the Norman Cathedral, the Royal Palace and the impressive Arab-Norman cathedral in Monreale with its mosaics.
  • 1 full day excursion to Segesta, with private bus and guide.

Excursion Segesta and wine tasting: a visit to Segesta will allow guests to go back in time to the periodo of Greek colonization in Sicily. Visit the massive Doric-style Temple from the 5th century B.C. and the ancient Theater: both are on two separate hills. The views from the hilltops are fabulous and the surrounding countryside is mostly cultivated with vineyards. Later,  continuationto a local wine cellar to visit to the cellars and wines tasting.
