A cultural tour that reveals all the charm of Rome and Rome surroundings. Tivoli and the region of Roman Hills, also known as Roman castles, worth a visit as the eternal capital.
The tour includes:
- 4 overnights in hotel in Rome
- 1half day guided city tour including the most important sites of the Eternal city: Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Navona Square, Spanish Steps, St. Peter’s Square
- 1 full day Eternal Rome and Vatican visit
Imperial Rome and Vatican visit: in the morning visit to the Vatican Museums, the largest art collection in Europe, including Roman scultpures and paintings by artists such Raphael, Caravaggio and Botticelli and the Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo’s masterpiece. Then visit to the Saint Peter’s Basilica, the largest church in the world, the coloumned square, the impressive dome, the baroque decorations and the Pietà by Michelangelo.
After lunch visit to the ancient city: the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill housing the Imperial palace, the Roman Forum, centre of the political life, the triumphal arches and the Capitol, once religious centre of the city. The tour ends in Piazza Venezia dominated by the Vittoriano, the monument to King Vittorio Emanuele II.

Excursion to Roman Hills: Roman Hills, also known as Roman Castles, are a group of villages situaded in the hilly region to the South of Rome. The region is characterized by the small volcanic Albano and Nemi Lakes, villas, castles and wineyards. The excursion will feature a panoramic tour through Castelgandolfo (summer residence of the Pope), Albano, Grottaferrata and Frascati. Then, tasting of typical wines.

Excursion to Tivoli: visit to two unmissable masterpieces. In the morning visit to Hadrian’s Villa, the greatest villa never belonged to a Roman emperor, caleydoscope of styles and witness of the extraordinary ability of Roman architects. After lunch visit to Villa d’Este with its Renaissance gardens characterized by one hundred fountains and several species of trees and flowers.
