Masks Atelier: visit of a mask atelier making antique masks from Carnival, the daily life in Venice for a mask making courses in Venice. After a theoretical explanation, each guest is able to understand the significance of each mask and therefore choose the most gratifying. Each person can choose from the various possibilities of practical work and alternative techniques of colouring, either for traditional masks or for someone who wishes to freely show their creativity, fantasy decoration with different techniques and materials. At the end of the work each guest can take home their own mask, unique, different to all the others and finished in a professional way.
Venetian Rowing Courses and Regattas : Regattas are the most genuinely Venetian of the city’s traditions and show its strong ties to the water. With assistance of one of the oldest and most distinguished rowing club in Venice, guests will take part of a private “Venetian style rowing course” in the calm waters of the Lagoon, with its unique natural landscape. At the end of the course they will also have the opportunity of contending a special prize on a real “rowing competition”. At the end, for everybody a good glass of wine in the Venetian tradition.
Treasure Hunt in Venice: the group will be divided in different teams and they will have to walk around Venice following an itinerary. Each team will have a different name and will have to go through different games, solve questions, take pictures, make drawings. A couple of stops in a Venetian tavernas (called “bacari”) will be arranged along the way where guests will enjoy an “ombra” (nice glass of wine) and a “cicheto” (Venetian word to call “tapas”).
