Parma

Founded by Etruscans, it was dominated by the Romans and, thanks to its favourable position in the middle of Po Valley, was dispoted by several powers. This is visible now in the numerous monuments of different styles.
The city has a very pleasant atmosphere that can be enjoyed by walking in the puicturesuqe streets of the historical centre. It’s also very lively, thanks to music and cultural events.
The immediate surroundings of the city are devoted to agriculture and food productions. Parma is famous for its gastronomy, giving birth to the exquisite Parmigiano cheese, the Parma ham and excellent wines.
