Piedmont

This region is famous for its natural assets with a part of the Alps and its National Parks.
Very well known for its gastronomy (wine and truffle above all), the Piedmont also fosters historical sites dating back to the exciting past, from the Roman times to the Middle Ages, up to the period of the Savoia family, witnessed by baroque palaces and castles.
Turin was the first capital of Italy and it’s a very lively city, historical and modern at the sime time. Recently renovated in the occasion of the Winter Olympic Games, Turin and its region are an ideal destination for winter sports.
